Since that first cake, I have made quite a few others. Some better than others. The blue diamond cake is my least favorite, it was my first try with buttercream...fail. But, I definitely have found a better recipe and better techniques since then. Here they are:
All of these are awesome, but I'd have to say my favorites from this group are, of course, my 50th birthday cake! Grandma Karen's 75th birthday cake was by far the greatest accomplishment for reaching the emotions and memories for her, (and all of us). And then Mr. Will's #1 cake. You hit that one perfectly!! You are amazing.
